People often ask what your one regret is, or what would you change about your life. When people ask me this I think about things that maybe haven't gone so well and etc, but honestly I don't regret anything.
If I could go back in time I wouldn't change anything, I might relive things, but I don't want to change anything. Everything that has happened to me, and everything I have experienced has made me who I am. I don't want to change that. I like who I am--so why would I change that? I have no regrets. I don't know how many people can say that.

ReplyDeleteConsider these statements:
"I don't regret anything."
"I haven't done anything worthy of regret."
Is there a difference?
There probably is a difference between not regretting anything and not having done anything worthy of regret.
ReplyDeleteNot regretting anything means you've done some things that you could regret but have decided not to, while not having anything to regret means you haven't made any mistakes. Or that's what I would think.
Not having anything to regret would mean there isn't anything you've ever second guessed. And there are things I've second guessed or maybe shouldn't have done that way, but I don't regret them because they made me who I am.
